"Brooding Dragon" by Chris Eternal Blight

My apologies for not doing the first comment thing, but I absolutely refuse to dance. Nothing personal you understand. Anyway, I think the title does this pic justice. It definitely appears to be brooding, or in the midst of making an extremely weighty decision, one or the other. I was also thinking it almost looked to be carved in stone. Of course that could also be an intended symbolic representation of a facet of his personality, perhaps more than a facet, a metaphorical attribute say. ...Then again I could be analyzing this pic too far. The drawing does hint at special focus to solely his expression, so maybe that’s the whole point. Of course brooding is seen as a stony expression at times, others anger, but almost always still and fixed. Maybe this is what gave me the impression. But overall, I really enjoyed this drawing. Very nice work.

A powerful dragon, no doubt about it. Who wouldn’t take a good pose with all that strength. I don’t think he has a bad character once you get to know him, but he has a strong will of his own right? The other dragons look great as well but I bet some of them have a bit of a bad temper Okay keep it up.

And I think with good reason.(I think today many people confuse Assurance and Pride with arrogance and ****iness..in a bad way. I think its a necessary characteristic in life. Singe didn’t dance! Grmphphphph! I dance for ’em! *dances around* Likee the dragon, though his look says more ’And you are?’ to me then ’Why did that guy eat my cheesecake’. I dunno. It’s just me, maybe. Does he talk?

Hilco is right! this pose has a lot of power in it. the way the dragon's neck curves is beautiful. i can imagine a gleam in his eye...
