Tag As FavoriteComment		This is a pretty loose portrayal of Beowulf and the monster he fights in the book, Grendel. In fact, I think the only things that match are that one is a man, the other is a monster, and the monster has an arm cut off. Also, I gave Beowulf a Roman shield to wear on his back, and a japanese katana rather than some sort of European medieval sword. Also, I don't remember much about whether Grendel had horns or wings or neither.
Drawn in pencil, then used photoshop for the image and for background. Age Completed: 23
